Janice Tennent - Director of PK I

I am blessed to be a part of the student ministry at The Grove. My husband and I have been attending The Grove since 2005. Bible Time '05 had us hooked. We knew we wanted to be a part of a church that worked so well together as a team and loved children so much. That was very evident to us as we watched Bible Time in progress. We were totally amazed. I served with the 3 year olds for several months until the executive staff asked me to join the team in January of '06. I am so blessed to direct the newborn to three year old classes, work with great leaders and parents, and build sweet friendships. The Grove family is truly family!

Kids Ranch

My passion is to start children off from the very beginning in the way they should go. We start from the crib telling the children how much Jesus loves them, praying for them and showing them the love of God. Our one, two, and three year old children learn each Sunday and Wednesday about how God loves and cares for them. We teach them in every thing we do. No babysitting here and no wasted time. Our children go home and tell Mom and Dad that Jesus talks to them like the whispering winds, that they want to praise God and that God cares for them. You don't have to wait until you are grown to learn to trust and love Jesus. Moses parents only had him until he was three and he became a great man of God!
