Pastor David Vaughn- Elementary School Pastor

First I would like to thank the LORD for the honor of being a children’s pastor. I live in Commerce with my wife Sonya and three boys, Derek, Dawson, and Dallas. I accepted Christ as my LORD and Savior at the age of twelve while attending Camp Maranatha. I feel that I have been and continue to be, clay in the LORD’s hands. The LORD allowed me to experience life through a non-Christian home so that I have a greater understanding of how important it is for the elementary staff and myself to promote healthy families here at the Grove. I first attended the Grove in 2005 and immediately recognized that the student ministries where a top priority. I’m so excited to be a part of what the LORD is doing here and ask that you pray daily for our children as we here at the Kids Club continue to disciple children to KNOW, LOVE, and SERVE Jesus Christ!

The Kids Club is an exciting ministry designed with the needs of Elementary School kids in mind. Our entire ministry is focused on reaching these kids in a relevant and biblically sound manner. I would love to invite you to come out, bring a kid and experience this ministry for yourself!

Sunday (9:15 & 11 AM)

Biblical preaching and passionate worship in an environment that is interactive and exciting.
Each week's message is part of a greater series in which we strive to teach your students valuable life lessons.
Each student will have a Bible, we encourage you to send one with your student. There are always Bibles available if someone needs one.
We will break into "small groups" after every "big group" time and discuss the morning's message and apply it to everyday living.

Wednesday Night (7 PM)

We operate with "PATCH THE PIRATE CLUB" on Wednesday nights. Our kids have the opportunity to learn what it means to worship God. We not only teach the students that they should worship God but we give them a "platform" to displau what they are learning. This is an exciting ministry of Bible study, Memory Verse work, activities, teaching and worship. Come see us!
