The Grove's Life Groups
We believe an essential element of discipleship is authentic Christ-centered community. We also believe that such community is best found within the context of a small group setting. We call these groups Life Groups, since they are a crucial element in developing Christlikeness in our everyday lives. It is in a Life Group that one studies the Bible with others in a comfortable atmosphere as they develop long lasting relationships. It is also in a Life Group that we learn to discuss our faith while praying for one another as we journey through Life together.
At the Grove, we start new off-campus Life Groups twice a year (February and September). These groups consist of a short-term commitment that usually lasts between 4 to 6 weeks based around a campaign Bible study we provide. We have discovered that these short-term commitments make a long-term difference in the lives of their participants. Although the commitment for these groups is short-term, most of our groups decide to remain together and continue to do Life Group studies together. Our off-campus Life Groups currently exist in:
If you are interested in being a part of one of these short-term studies please stop by the Connect Center for more information.
In addition to our off-campus Life Groups, we do have 3 groups that meet on Sunday morning at 8:30am. These 3 groups meet each week and are set up similar to a traditional Sunday school and are comprised of friendly faces and strong Bible content. All adults are welcome in any of the groups below:
-Senior Adults in the Cabin of the Discipleship Building
-Food For The Soul with Paul Dennis in the Choir room of the Discipleship Building
-Life Issues with Dickie Vail in the upstairs of the Chantry
