From the age of two, I have been involved in performing arts through the local church. I was able to learn about the art of Worship through singing on platforms in churches all over Georgia. Raised by Christian parents who also worked in ministry, I realized around the age of eleven that I needed to ask the Lord to be my personal Savior. I gave my heart, soul, mind, and body to Christ and have been overwhelmed at what the Lord has done in my life and the lives of others through Corporate Worship Arts.
In 1997, a church family entered me into the Babbie Mason Vocal Contest. God allowed me to win the Best Vocal, and also receive the Best Overall Score. I was sent to Colorado, which was a life-changing event for me. While in Colorado, I found the peace in knowing the difference between ministry and industry. God has prepared my heart to know that I had been called to do ministry.Where singing had been my primary service in Worship, I found at the age of twenty-six I was blessed with the gift of playing the piano.
Since that time, I have developed and directed Event Voices, Men’s Choir, Ladies’ Choir, Biltmore Team, Ensembles, Praise Teams, Bands, and Children’s Musicals. While still leading all of these ministries, I saw the need for the Performing Arts ministry and desired to offer that opportunity to The Grove. This ministry has become the Apprentice program for Elementary, Middle and High School students.
Myself and Pastor A have been serving at The Grove since October of 1990. We have two sons, Andy and Austin and a daughter Anna Gamble and her husband Tyler along with two beautiful grandchildren, Izi and Ivie.
